A brace of Birds in Amaglug-glug Squad

The National U23 squad has been announced by newly appointed coach Ephraim Shakes Mashaba, with the emphasis on putting a plan together to build a strong and competitive squad.

According to Soccer-Laduma, the squad will assemble on Friday for a camp to start building the new Amaglug-glug team that will represent the country in future competitive games.

Among the pool of players selected to do duty for the country are midfielder Ramahlwe Mphahlele and defender Phumelelo "Ace" Bhengu from Swallows. Both players came up through the ranks from Swallows Youth Development, and represented the country in Amajita during the 2009/2010 season.

Well done, boys. You make us proud, and we wish you the best of luck
